HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK

RULES & CONDITIONS
- 1 tattoo = 1 submission
- One tattoo can be entered into one category only
- You may enter multiple categories, as long as each
submission is a different tattoo - Separate form and fee required for each entry
- Submissions are accepted until February 16, 2026
- 1-5 clear photos per submission
- Tattoo must be fully visible
- No filters, heavy editing, frames, or watermarks
- Photos must represent the actual tattoo
- Both fresh and healed tattoos are accepted
- Results are announced during live streams on March 4–6, 2026
Judging criteria:
- Clarity & composition – layout, balance, and a clear visual focus
- Anatomy & placement – how the tattoo works with the body and its form
- Overall impression – the overall strength and visual impact of the piece
- Execution – cleanliness within the chosen style and absence of technical flaws
- The event is held fully online
- No travel, no booths, no live attendance required
- All submissions and results are handled digitally
- Participating online can reduce costs by up to €2,000 compared to offline conventions

- One tattoo submitted to one category costs €61,50
- Each tattoo must be submitted as a separate entry
- An artist may submit a maximum of one tattoo per category.
- Each additional tattoo requires a separate €61,50 gross fee

How do I submit my tattoo?
Choose your category, prepare 1-5 clear photos of the tattoo, and complete the form in the Registration section. Each tattoo must be submitted as a separate entry.
What are the photo requirements?
Photos must be clear, well-lit, and unedited.
The tattoo should be fully visible, without filters, heavy retouching, frames, or watermarks.
How many works can I submit?
You can submit tattoos to multiple categories, as long as each entry is a different tattoo.
One tattoo can be submitted to only one category and must be registered through a separate form.
Who evaluates the submissions?
All entries are evaluated by an international jury of active tattoo artists.
Each category is judged independently.
Where are the results published?
The results are announced during the official live streams throughout the event (July 8-10, 2026) and published on INKERION’s official social media channels.
Do I need to submit a fresh or healed tattoo photo?
You can submit either a fresh or a healed tattoo.
The most important requirement is that the photos clearly show the tattoo and its overall appearance.
Until when is registration open?
Registration and tattoo submissions are open until June 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM (CET, Germany).
Will the judging be based on photos or videos?
Judging is primarily based on the photos submitted with the registration form.
In some cases, participants may be asked to provide additional photos or a short video for clarification.
